Description

Keith Jafrate is a writer and musician from London who has lived in Yorkshire since 1980. Over the past decade he has become best known for his performances combining poetry and jazz, and he has toured throughout England and North America with his group Sang. 

He also writes for the theatre and other kinds of performance. His latest play, England’s Prison, was written in 1992 while he was writer-in-residence at South Shields Probation Day Centre. England’s Prison toured throughout the North, performed by First Time Theatre Company.
