The North – 65


The North 65 showcases 148 poems by 66 outstanding poets, including poems by Rebecca Althaus, David Borrott, Alison Brackenbury, David Constantine, Ian McMillan, Michael Schmidt, Kathryn Simmonds, Pam Thompson, Luke Samuel Yates, and many more.

This issue’s ‘Featured Title’ is Birmingham Canal Navigation by Cliff Yates (Knives Forks and Spoons Press). Other features include ‘Poets I Go Back To’ by Peter Carpenter by Sarah Mnatzaganian, ‘Blind Criticism’ by Cheryl Moskovitz and Barbara Marsh, Close Reading of Meg Cox by Kim Moore, and a prose extract entitled ‘The Geese’ from Michael McCarthy’s forthcoming book, Like a Tree Cut Back (April 2021).
