Felicity Skelton
Felicity Skelton: is a short story writer, and a lecturer in English and Creative Writing at Sheffield Hallam University. Smith/Doorstop published her collection of stories, Eating A Sandwich, in 1999. Her story, ‘Geography’, is included in the Salt anthology, Stories for Reading Aloud, ed. Jonathan Taylor, (2012), another ‘The Curate’s Wife: A Fantasy’ in the Red Room anthology published by Unthank Books, 2013, and in 2014, ‘The Problem of Space’ was published in Unbraiding the Short Story, an anthology published in America. She has also contributed to books on fiction and pedagogy, and had short stories published in Mslexia, The North, Sheffield Thursday and Sheaf. She also writes poetry. She spent 20 years in the professional theatre, directing and backstage, and 20 years running a tea-shop and B&B in the Peak District.
