Kate Bass lives with her family in Cambridge.

Her first pamphlet, The Onion House (published by Many Press, 1996), received critical acclaim. She was shortlisted for the Arts Council/Radio 4 ‘First Verse’ award in 2002. Her poem, The Albatross, is one of those selected for the annual US Poetry Out Loud competition.

She is working on a new collection.
