Faith Lawrence lives in Manchester and makes radio programmes exploring language and poetry for the BBC.

She wrote about the art of listening for her Creative Writing PhD at the University of St Andrews, and is compiling a glossary of ‘listening’ words (whilst keeping an ear out for her young son, who is usually quite easy to hear). Her poems have been published in Poetry Review and The Interpreter’s House.
