Duncan Curry is a teacher and a poet. He lives in Huddersfield.

He has been published in various magazines, including Orbis, The Wide Skirt, The North and Poetry Nottingham. His collections include Contemporary Yorkshire Poetry (1984), Oranges (1986) and Against the Grain (1989). The Darts and the Commentary was published by Smith/Doorstop in 1996.
