Andrew Wilson lives in Leeds. He devised The Guardian text message poetry competition and the Leeds City Poems SMS project. His short film Shoes, Rings, Fish has been screened at film festivals around the country.

Des for Pres was published by Smith/Doorstop Books in 1997. Text Messages was his first-full collection.
