Paul Munden is Director of NAWE (National Association of Writers in Education), whose registered office is Shandy Hall. He received an Eric Gregory Award from the Society of Authors and his work has been published by Faber & Faber; and in many other anthologies. He contributed to the Black Page exhibition at Sandy Hall, 2009, and to the ‘Emblem of My Work’ exhibition, 2011. He lives in a village in the Howardian Hills, North Yorkshire.

Description

Asterisk* is a sequence of poems inspired by Shandy Hall, the extraordinary house in Coxwold that was once home to the writer Laurence Sterne. The book is a personal interpretation of all things Shandean, combined with photographs of the house and its garden.
