Neil Roberts is Emeritus Professor of English Literature at the University of Sheffield. The most recent of his many books are D.H. Lawrence, Travel and Cultural Difference, Ted Hughes: A Literary Life and A Lucid Dreamer: The Life of Peter Redgrove.
