As part of our new ‘Apart Together’ digital project for 2021, The Poetry Business has partnered up with The Writing Squad to host a digital residency with a Squad poet each month. Each poet will be producing and posting digital content for The Poetry Business, such as blog posts, audio recordings, writing prompts and more.
Nasim Rebecca Asl is our Digital Poet-In-Residence for September.
Nasim Rebecca Asl is a poet and journalist. Her work has appeared in magazines such as Gutter Magazine, Middleground Magazine and Modern Poetry in Translation. She is an alumnae of The Writing Squad and Traverse Theatre’s Young Writers programme. In 2021 she received a Scottish Book Trust New Writers Award for Poetry.
